anti-watt
anti-watt was originally created in the early '90's at Antioch College.
Not much documentation exists concerning its early going-ons on account of the 2008 closure of the college and anti-watt’s status as a pirate station. Activity has always been inconsistent, as it relies on individuals’ involvement and initiative.
anti-watt’s loosely defined boundaries make it a broadcasting resource open to many potential shapes and configurations.
we seek to act as a hub/repository/conduit of the audio-centered work being done by community members in yellow springs, oh.
anti-watt has historically strived for a non-hierarchical structure, as equal access to the resource of broadcasting is of great import and consequence. antiwatt aims to make live streaming and broadcasting available to everyone interested.
